Choose your cards and choose them well…
such a fine line between heaven and hell.
Never was I informed of the price of my choice
Just given the consequence with no voice.
The thankless notion that burdens my mind
Is that we carry on and strip this melon to its rind,
while stimulating self-affirmation… that life’s about what we’ve got
and if one does not got…then let him rot!
Why must some act like rats drowning in water?
Ever pushing the others under just as if it were to steal the last breath.
Liars swarm me as tweekers to meth.
The vile scum that pollute the bad street
haven’t the chance to even compete…
with those that sit in the political seat.
Contemptuous I may sound…
but I’m sick of giving ground
to all that I have described.
This is the desperate call
of the losing player… in the card game of life,
the one who received…
the luckless draw.
